Members and friends of First Congregational UCC serve each other as well as those outside the church in the following ministries:
Members of our Church Relations Ministry invite visitors through activities such as press releases and other publicity, special events, visitor follow-up, and other projects as delegated by Council.
Our Facilities Ministry oversees all building and systems maintenance, clean-up, lawn care, snow removal, special projects, decorating, and others as delegated by Council.
Lend-a-Hand’s motto is “Look up and not down, out and not in, forward and not back, and lend-a-hand.” This group can be found assisting the everyday needs of the church from folding bulletins to preparing funeral luncheons and countless other ways to “lend-a-hand.”
Nurture Ministry provides care for the congregation, including fellowship, youth activities, member visitation/cards, and meals for congregants in need. Also, under its umbrella is Lend-a-Hand, Men’s and Women’s Fellowship, Peanuts, Quilt Ministry, and others as delegated by Council. There are eight members on Nurture Ministry.

Worship Ministry provides planning & support for worship services, including communion, ushers, music, banners, candles, paraments, lay readers, announcements, and others as delegated by Council.
