Each Sunday from the week after Labor Day through the week before Memorial Day, beginning at 8:30 a.m., preschoolers aged 3 through students in the 12th grade are energized in their faith formation. All are welcome to attend our Sunday School program!
Preschool through fifth grade gather at 8:30 a.m. in the downstairs Rainbow Room, and sixth grade and up meet in the back office and the Conference Room at the back of the offices. We set up our children’s altar, read the Bible Story for the day, participate in lively discussion on our lesson, do a prayer, and an offering collected. Morning snacks are also provided. After their gathering time, the students go to their respective classrooms. The high school students meet for breakfast and lively conversation at the same time. At 9:30 a.m. the classes adjourn and the younger children have choir practice. Parents are always welcome to assist in the classes.
Our children come to know the love of God through Jesus in our Sunday School classes. They learn to live out their belief in God in their everyday lives. We are currently using Seasons Of The Spirit for our curriculum.
Our teachers are dedicated to helping children as they embark on their faith journey. They use age-appropriate games, readings, arts and crafts and music to help the children understand the message of God’s love. Classes are for preschool age 3 through kindergarten, first, second & third grade, fourth & fifth grade, sixth & seventh grade, eighth grade and up through high school. Each quarter the children carry out a service project where they learn the joy of sharing their love and care with others.
We welcome new students and visitors any time.
